SEDIBENG.- The Fezile Dabi District Municipality 2019 HIV/AIDS Benefit Concert is back, bigger and at a different exciting venue on the 30th
November 2019.
The Executive Mayor of Fezile Dabi District Municipality, Councillor Moeketsi Moshodi, has confirmed the 30th November 2019 as the day on which the municipality will host the 2019 Fezile Dabi District Municipality HIV/AIDS benefit concert at the Deneysville Resort.
“The Municipality is very proud to announce that the venue for the 2019 HIV/AIDS benefit concert is Deneysville Resort, this change was necessitated
by the unfortunate unavailability of the Abrahamsrust Resort, which is currently under renovations.
“This new venue provides a very exciting opportunity and a beautiful scenery for our patrons. The Deneysville Resort is a beautiful resort in our
district; it is spotless and extremely secured.”
The Fezile Dabi HIV/AIDS Benefit Concert, hosted by the Fezile Dabi Municipality and its partners, is now in its 15th year and continues its efforts to get people to “Know their status”, by urging and re-enforcing members of the community to get tested and stick to treatment regimes.
More than R5.6 million has been raised and donated to various NGO’s since 2008 and the executive mayor hopes to top that amount with this
year’s events which have become quite popular with locals and visitors from other regions.
This year’s lineup boasts an incredible make up of great artists including those from the Free State Province and the District such as Lira, Tshepo Tshola,Vusi Nova, Selaelo Selota, Bongo Maffin, Kelly Khumalo, Mlindo the Vocalist, Semito and Presss. In addition, two national artists and six local artists will be announced soon after agreements have been reached with them. Early bird tickets are priced at R180 from today up until the 7th November 2019. After the 7th November 2019 tickets will be selling at R250. On the day of the event, 30th November, tickets will be selling
