NAD, PSB and BlueSound found a new home in SA – in the Vaal!

The Canadian Lenbrook Group, brand owners of NAD Electronics, PSB loudspeakers and BlueSound streaming products has announced the appointment of a new importer/distributor for the South African region – AV Imports (AVI). This is good news, especially for the Vaal Triangle, as AVI’s head office is situated right here in Vereeniging.
AVI is being launched as a focused, purpose driven import and distribution organization built to serve the South African and SADEC region by supplying all three Lenbrook brands to audio dealers and residential installers. It will also be the national service centre for NAD.
The AVI ownership group consists of audio industry stalwart, Francois van Rooyen of Cape Town, in partnership with local businessman, Schalk Burger (Jr), who entered the industry in 2006, bringing 13 years of experience plus youthful exuberance to the business.
Schalk received comprehensive training in home theatre design and all aspects of the industry in London, Amsterdam and Finland. Francois and Schalk share a passion and love for music. “Music feeds the soul,” is Francois’ conviction. Schalk grew up with NAD in his parents’ house and was passionate about the brand since childhood.
