MEYERTON. – The Meyerton police in conjunction with the Sedibeng District task team, Sedibeng District stations, Midvaal traffic officers, and other stakeholders conducted the “O kae molao” operation in Meyerton on Wednesday.
The operation was conducted in form of a roadblock, Stop and search and patrols. During the operation, police were alerted of a shack that is being used to store large amounts of dagga.
Meyerton police spokesperson Tlaleng Moloi says that on arrival, police found bags of dagga inside a shack. “There was no one at the scene. Relevant stakeholders were called to the scene and no arrests were made.” Moloi concludes.
