SEDIBENG.- Fortunately, no-one sustained any injuries following a fire on two carriages on a train at the Elandsfontein Train Station in Germiston on Tuesday morning.
ER24 personnel, along with other services, arrived on the scene shortly after 07:00 this morning to find the Ekurhuleni Fire Service already in attendance.
Fire services had already begun to battle the blaze which had broken out in two of the carriages.
Emergency personnel set up a triage area and began to assess the passengers. Fortunately, no injuries were found.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
