VEC (Vaal Emergency Care) and other emergency services attended the multiple vehicle and truck collision on the R59 between Vaalpark and Vereeniging earlier this morning.
Although official statements are not available yet, Ster learned that 4 or 5 heavy vehicles and at least 13 passenger vehicles were involved.
According to unconfirmed reports, 5 people lost their lives and many are injured.
