Vaalpark Articon mourns the passing of Mitchell Murandu (14)

"Always a smile, instead of a frown. Always a hand when one is down... Always true, thoughtful and kind. Wonderful memories Mitchell left behind..."

Vaalpark Articon says it is with great sadness that the school mourns the death of Mitchell Murandu, who was a Grade 9 learner in the school.
The 14 year old girl suffered from a kidney disease and passed away on the 27th of February. She and her parents were orginally from Zimbabwe.
Articon headmaster Mr Etienne Engelbrecht was among the mourners who attended the funeral in Vanderbijlpark over the past weekend to say farewell to this girl, who will be remembered for her kindness and friendly demeaner.
A memorial service for Mitchell will also take place on Friday 15 March at 10:30 in the school hall.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones in this difficult time,” says a spokesperson for Articon.
“Always a smile, instead of a frown. Always a hand when one is down… Always true, thoughtful and kind. Wonderful memories Mitchell left behind…”
