EVATON. – NWU Vaal Development League’s U/11 will play their first league match this year.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Evaton Mall Astroturf this Saturday. The NWU Vaal Football Manager, Thomas Tema told Sedibeng Ster Sport that they want to expose youngsters to different playing conditions at a young age, hence they will take the league games to this Astroturf venue in Evaton. This will be the first time a NWU Vaal Development League game is played at these facilities since the league started last year.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Tema said, ”As NWU Vaal we want to help as much as we can for the development of football, especially in Emfuleni. “That is why we agreed to start the u/11 league when the teams approached us with this idea. The teams made an appeal to the NWU Vaal Football Department to assist them in starting the u/11 league which
we started last year.
“Like I said, we don’t take over.
