Sedibeng K9 arrest suspect for dealing in drugs

On Monday 2019-01-21 at 22:50 W/O Juanita Rost and W/O Jacques Van Rooyen where requested to assist Sebokeng members with information of drugs at Kwa Masiza hostel.

Upon arrival at the address, the owner of the house refused to open the door and the members saw the occupants of the house through the window hiding things. The door was kicked open and one (01) African female and one (01) African male was found in the room. The room was searched and inside a cupboard lots of bags of dagga was found. The second room was also searched and only two steel lockers was found locked with a number combination lock. The African female opened the lock and inside the lockers more dagga, packaging material, money and the ID document of the female was found. The African female was arrested for dealing and possession of drugs and detained at sebokeng SAPS.

The suspect will appear in the Sebokeng Magistrate court soon on charges of possession and dealing in drugs. Fifty one (51) zip lock bags dagga and another Thirty two (32) kilo grams of loose dagga was found. The total street value of the dagga is estimated at R75 000.
