Four male bikers were lucky to be left with only minor to moderate injuries after their motorbikes apparently connected on the R59, halfway between Parys and the N1 off-ramp this afternoon.
According to ER24 spokesperson Ross Campbell, paramedics arrived on the scene at 16:42 to find four men in need of medical attention. After being assessed and treated, the two in their 40s were transported by ER24 and another service to Mediclinic Emfuleni and the two in their 20s chose to stay on the scene, refusing hospital transport.
Traffic, Fire & Rescue and SAPS were all on the scene for further investigation.
