SNC-Lavalin presents Oospark Primary with a valued asset

Oospark Primary School in Vanderbijlpark was identified as one of the sustainable initiatives that SNC-Lavalin supports as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility

 
VANDERBIJLPARK. – SNC-Lavalin’s approach to Corporate Social Responsibility aims to support ideas and initiatives that have the potential to stimulate progress and build the future. The company says its goal is to have a positive impact on communities, learning and innovation.

Primarily contributing to educational causes, particularly initiatives that support the next generation of talent, SNC-Lavalin also encourages and collaborates with local stakeholders to help build and develop sustainable communities.

Oospark Primary School in Vanderbijlpark was identified as one of the sustainable initiatives that SNC-Lavalin supports as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility in the area they operate. One of the priority items was the need for a vegetable tunnel to support the feeding scheme. A vegetable tunnel was erected, seedlings were provided and a water irrigation system implemented. The project was recently handed over to the school, which joyfully took up the task to take it on as a valued asset.
