SEBOKENG. – Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) hosted a prize giving ceremony for the Super League teams on the Vaal Milling premises in Sebokeng over the weekend.

The league rewarded four teams that finished first and second in their respective streams – Sebokeng and Boitshepiville. VUT FC was crowned the league champions in Boitshepiville and for their effort they received R6 000 and a new soccer kit, and SUBS FC received the same prizes for being the winners in the Sebokeng Stream.

Vereeniging Old Boys FC and Celta Vigo Development FC received R3 000 each as the runners-up in Boitshepiville and Sebokeng Stream respectively.
The prizes were courtesy of the Vaal Milling Company which has been the sponsor of the Super League for the past five years. ELFA Treasurer, Sam Mabula was full of compliments for Vaal Milling for sponsoring the league.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank Vaal Milling for always being there for the development of football in Emfuleni and I wish other companies can come on board so that the league can have more prizes at the end of the season and for the growth and development of our sports particularly at grass-roots level,” said Mabula.
