Nedbank Cup games continue despite protests from teams

The teams that didn’t honour their Nedbank fixtures were Ghettos Seven FC, Metro Stars FC, Vaal Milano, FC RESA, All Stars FC and VUT FC. These teams demand that the league expel Real Hearts from the SAB League.

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Safa Sedibeng SAB League Nedbank Cup games continued over the weekend. This was despite the fact that some of the teams boycotted the games played at Shakespeare Stadium over the weekend. Some of the SAB League teams refused to honour the fixtures until their grievances were heard by the Safa Sedibeng Executive committee.

The teams that didn’t honour their Nedbank fixtures were Ghettos Seven FC, Metro Stars FC, Vaal Milano, FC RESA, All Stars FC and VUT FC. These teams demand that the league expel Real Hearts from the SAB League.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport Safa Sedibeng Regional Executive Officer, Beauty Molise, said football should be played and administration problems be sorted out in the boardroom. Molise told Sedibeng Ster Sport that she has since referred this matter to Safa national office.
