GAUTENG. – ER24 reports that two people were killed, and four others were injured after two trucks collided on the R550 in Klip River , Gauteng over the weekened..
When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 21H00, they found another medical service in attendance. Upon further assessment, paramedics found that two people sustained fatal injuries. They were declared dead on the scene. Two others were found to have sustained serious injuries.
The ER24 Oneplan medical helicopter, as well as another emergency medical helicopter, transported the two seriously injured patients to hospital for further medical care.
Two others were found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were transported to hospital by other medical services on the scene. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene.
