Sedibeng EFF regional command team elected

”I am happy that the conference concluded with one mandate of taking service delivery head-on and always being on the side of the poor, marginalised and rejected people of Sedibeng,” said the new chairperson.

MIDVAAL. – Isaac Khithika and Thembinkosi Siqu were respectively elected as the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Sedibeng Regional Command Team (RCT) of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) recently.

The RCT executive committee will last for the next three years. The elections were hosted recently at the Midvaal Assemblies of God precinct. The other members of the top five include Shaun Mohono (Secretary), Julia Mazibuko (Deputy Secretary) and Tshepo Molefe (Treasure). Mzwakhe Mapeyi is their organiser. Khithika thanks all members who participated in the election and those who contested for the positions. He said the conference was not a highly contested event and the mood was very jolly and delegates were very clear on who their preferred candidates were.

“The battle of ideas was the order of the day in commissions as delegates began voicing their views on how to take the organisation forward.

”I am happy that the conference concluded with one mandate of taking service delivery head-on and always being on the side of the poor, marginalised and rejected people of Sedibeng,” said the new chairperson.

He said that as part of their mandate, the newly elected leadership will lead their first march to Johan Heyns Community Health Clinic to demand quality healthcare for all.
