Ke Yona team visits Sedibeng

The Ke Yona Nedbank Team visited Sedibeng to play against Menza Sports Group’s Invitation Team at Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark over the weekend

VANDERBIJLPARK. – The Ke Yona Nedbank Team visited Sedibeng to play against Menza Sports Group’s Invitation Team at Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark over the weekend.
It was an exciting Sunday outing for Sedibeng football lovers as they enjoyed exciting football throughout the day. The Menza Sports Group’s Invitation Team was coached by Dingane Tshabalala while the Ke Yona Team was coached by former soccer greats Mike Mangena, Shakes Mashaba and Khabo Zondo.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Menza Sports Group founder and CEO Senzo Masingiza said this initiative is to help the players who are out of contract to sign on to the National First Divisions and PSL clubs.
Mazingisa said this initiative started at the beginning of June and will run until the end of July. “Look, as Menza Sports Group we want to give players who are out of contract a platform from which to play against these National First Divisions and PSL teams with the aim of securing contracts for them.
We don’t want to see these players’ talent wasted so we came up with this initiative,” he told Sedibeng Ster Sport.
Mzingiza said they were honoured to play against Ke Yona team and the team’s coaches were impressed with some of the Menza Sports Group’s Invitation players.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, former Bafana Bafana Coach, Shakes Mashaba said they want to thank Menza Sports Group for the invitation as it helped them to assess their team.
The Ke Yona Team is the team that will play against an Absa PSLteam that will be crowned the Nedbank Cup champions in the new season.
