VEREENIING. – The man in the picture is being sought by police in connection to the murder of Jan Scholtz who was robbed and shot dead on March 27 last year at the corner of Umtata and Limpopo street in Three Rivers.
Scholtz , who was there to deposit cash when he was attacked by three unknown males of which one was armed with a pistol. The suspects fought with Scholtz right before he was shot and fled the scene using his blue Ford Ranger which was later recovered in Riversdale, Meyerton.
Police Spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda urges anyone who can identify the man in the picture to contact the nearest police station, crime stop on 0800 10 111 or the investigating officer Molefi Taje on 073 0477 823.
