Woman’s ordeal as assailants hijacked and kidnapped her in Bedworth Park

'She couldn’t scream because they threatened to kill her as they were pointing guns at her head, instructing her to cooperate for her life.'

A Vaal Triangle resident writes this upsetting letter about her aunt’s horrific experience last weekend:

On Saturday, 2nd June 2018 around 18:00, my aunt Palesa Mohapi was hijacked from her home at 21 Bendis Avenue Bedworth Park Vanderbijlpak. She had just came from a funeral when the three black male intruders jumped on her while she was parking her car in the garage.

They grabbed her and tossed her to the back of the car seat and drove off with her. She couldn’t scream because they threatened to kill her as they were pointing guns at her head, instructing her to cooperate for her life. After driving for a while, they reached a bush which she later recognized as around the Kliprivier area.

Two of the intruders drove off to withdraw money from her account while the third guy remained with her, demanding pin numbers for ATM cards. They withdrew all her money from her Nedbank account and Credit Card. While they were out there, they drove to her house to steal TVs, Music Center, Laptop, Heater and her jewelry. They took her car and all her personal belongings i.e.: ID, License, Cards, and her hand bag.

She opened a case at Vereeniging on 3rd June 2018 around 01:00 am.

Case number: 41-06-2018

Vereeniging

Vehicle Registration: FH32YNGP Cream White C220d Coupe 2016 Mercedes Benz 2 Door

I thank God that she’s alive and nothing was done to her, they did not rape her, they did not kill her. She’s traumatized and got bruises on her knees and marks from the pointed gun. Her body is sore from falling on the ground while she was trying to find her way back home when the intruders let her go.

Please I humbly ask Ster and Vaalweekblad’s readers to help find the intruders and my aunts belongings. One of the names of her assailants is Elvis.
