Winter Schools Ball Games come to an end

The Sedibeng Regional Winter Ball Games came to an end at Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark over the weekend.

VANDERBIJLPARK.- The Sedibeng Regional Winter Ball Games came to an end at Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark over the weekend.
This Winter Schools Ball Games started on Friday with the primary schools and secondary schools on Saturday.
The sporting activities that form part of this schools winter ball games includes volleyball, soccer, netball, hockey, rugby and tennis, both boys and girls to mention but few.
The schools that crowned the champions will represent Sedibeng at the Provincial School Winter Ball Games. Some of the schools that will represent Sedibeng at provincial level in various sporting codes are Sicelo Primary, Emmaule Primary, Lake-Side Primary, Matsie Style Primary, Lehae Primary, Shaima Primary, Katleho-Impumelelo Secondary, General Smust, Mohloli Secondary, Tsolo Secondary, Sun-Crest hHigh, Thuto-Tiro Secondary and Khutlo-Tharo Secondary to mention but few.
Sedibeng District Sports coordinator Nkaoli Botsana congratulates all the schools that will represent Sedibeng at provincial level.
Botsane said as the region they will support all the schools as they will be representing the region, not individual schools.
“I just want to thank all the schools, especially those principals and teachers who continue to support and encourage sports at their schools.
“We want to say to them, thank you for your understanding that these learners must take part in sports.
“Lastly, I want to thank the people I worked with to make these games a success even if it was difficult. In fact they made my job easier as they were the ones that run the show,” concluded Botsane.
