SEBOKENG. – An elderly woman (55) who has never experienced a supernatural event recently saw the ground bleeding under her feet. A devastated Matibi Leseka of Zone 13 in Sebokeng, said she was bathing when blood spurted out of the floor, splashing her lower legs. This happened in her house while she was preparing to go to work last Wednesday.
“I was about to put on vaseline and clothes when a mysterious thing happened. I was alone in the house and I jumped all over the house as if in a dream,” she said in shock. She immediately called Police who asked her how they could open a case. Police, however, did see the blood that had spurted out of the floor. The phenomenon apparently followed her as she ran to the other bedroom, the sitting room and outside the house: “I have never experienced anything like this. I have never believed in sangomas or the supernatural.”
She told some of the community members and Sedibeng Ster, in disbelief, that the blood drops also showered from the ceiling like rain. The family fears that such miracles should not get attention of prophets of doom. Sello Skosana, her husband, said there was speculation from a known priest that human bones were buried in the yard.
“We have lived in this house for years. We do not want to entertain such rumours as this will cost us money,” said Skosana.
