Who will be the Vaal’s cutest Grade 1 pupil in 2018?

Parents of Grade One's who started school in the Vaal Triangle in 2018, remember to enter you child in Ster and Vaalweekblad's exciting competition!

Are you the parent of a little one who will be in grade one this year? How would you like your kid’s school fees to be paid on your behalf for the whole year? This is one of the enticing prizes in Ster and Vaalweekblad’s Grade One competition.

In order to stand a winning chance, enter your child into the Grade One Competition starting this week.

All you as a parent have to do is dress your kiddy in his or her new school uniform, take a digital photo and email it to rfichat@media24.com to reach us not later than January 31. Remember to provide your child’s name and surname, his or her school and a contact number where we can reach you if he/she is the winner.

As lots of entries are expected, a panel of judges will select the best photos to appear in a Grade One supplement that will be included in Vaalweekblad in February.

Readers, parents and their families will then get an opportunity to vote for the entrants. The grade ones in the first three positions will each win exciting prizes of which the biggest will be that MooiVaal Media wil contribute R5 000 to the winner’s school fees for the year 2018. So, take a photo today and mail it as soon as possible to rfichat@media24.com! There is no entry fee.

If you would like to better your child’s winning chances, you can have studio photos taken by Chilli PicNic at R100 per photo shoot. The studio will then send the photo free of charge to Ster and Vaalweekblad, to be included in the competition. For more information, call Nicky from Chilli PicNic on 083 744 7711.
