Decomposed body found on the R42

According to Meyerton Police Spokesperson Constable Maria Letsele police received a phone call from the worker after he discovered the body. "Upon arrival Police started investigating but the decomposed body could not be identified. Only the clothes of the deceased could be identified. He wore a navy blue jean, a purple and blue striped T-shirt and white Nike sneakers.

Police have launched an inquest after a decomposed body was discovered along the R42 recently.

Meyerton. – The decomposed body of an unknown man has been found in a field next to the R42 Heidelberg/Meyerton Road, by a worker who was busy cutting grass.

According to Meyerton Police Spokesperson Constable Maria Letsele police received a phone call from the worker after he discovered the body.
“Upon arrival Police started investigating but the decomposed body could not be identified. Only the clothes of the deceased could be identified. He wore a navy blue jean, a purple and blue striped T-shirt and white Nike sneakers.

“A case of inquest has been opened for investigation. Anyone with information about a missing person can contact the investigating officer W/O Jimmy Kekana on 072 9000 478 or 016 362 0126.”
