Man shot-and-killed in Deneysville
A man, believed to be in his 60s, was killed early this morning when he was shot during an alleged home invasion in the Deneysville area.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene by the local CPF members, arriving at 92h57.
On scene paramedics were lead into the bedroom of the residence where they found the man.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained several gunshot wounds, leaving him in a critical condition.
Paramedics immediately treated the man and provided him with several advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Unfortunately, after a short time in hospital, the man finally succumbed to his injuries.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
