BARRAGE. – Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Simon Mofokatsana has urged members of the community to alert the police immediately when they see a car carrying jet-skis and quad bikes. This follows the high theft of jet-skis and quad bikes reported in the area.
During a joint operation last month, security officers of Malbank, Warrant Officer Swart and Warrant Officer Grobler tried to catch one of the culprits after they were called for help by senior Security Officer Gerry. Unfortunately the driver of the red bakkie had difficulty to move the trailer with the quad bike and jet-ski and instead ran away.
No arrests have been made and the matter is still under investigation.
