Four injured in collision between car and train

Metrorail and the SAPS are investigating the incident

Four people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to severe after the vehicle they were traveling in collided with a train in Tarlton in Krugersdorp this morning.
A spokesperson for ER24, Ineke van Huyssteen, reports that when ER24 paramedics arrived on scene at 11:55, all of the occupants were out of the vehicle.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that the occupants sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
The ER24 Oneplan helicopter transported a woman to Lenmed Randfontein for further medical care.
The other patients were transported by ER24 and another medical service to nearby hospitals for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident weren’t clear but Metrorail and the SAPS were on scene for further investigations.
