VANDERBIJLPARK. – The residents of Bophelong have barricaded the Golden Highway after they went on a protest today against companies in Vanderbijlpark allegedly causing air pollution.
Claims are that the companies are putting the lives of the residents and their families in danger by continuing to put dangeroous chemicals in the air.
The group was seen burning tyres and singing. Police are on the scene, no arrests have been made.
