SEDIBENG.- Lebo Sekgobela, super Gospel singer from the dusty streets of Sedibeng in the Southern part of Gauteng, raised Vaal region high during the Metro FM Awards.

The awards were held at ICC Hall Durban in KwaZulu Natal Durban last Saturday. Sekgobela kill music chats with her golden voice and song called Lion of Judah. Album Restoration has raised her name amongst the best Gospel artist in South Africa.
“Every corner, every radio station, nine out of ten cars play  the song Lion of Judah,” said her fans on Facebook. Sekgobela was nominated for Best Song of the year, best female and best gospel artist. “She won none of those but she has shown that Gospel has a role to play in the music industry.
Her husband/manager Lucky Sekgobela stated they are thrilled and honoured to receive such tremendous support from all parts of the world. “We still have a long journey to pave and walk. We are honoured for such support and love. We are graced, from above. Let all the Glory go to the Lord,” said Lucky.
When asked what Sekgobela was up to, he said: “We have Sekgobela’s tour, Polokwane in March, Eaton, London, in April, and Middleburg in May. We are just worshiping and thanking the Lord for His wonderful gift He has granted us,” said Lucky.
When further asked what it was like to record Restoration Album, he said it was never easy though they just try to always put God first.
