SEBOKENG. – The Waterdale road next to the Boiketlong Informal Settlement is notorious for it’s gruesome accidents.
One person died yesterday morning and over 20 people were injured in an incident involving two Quantums and a bakkie. Police Spokesperson Captain Aubrey Moopeloa says, “It is still a mystery as to how this accident happened, the details surrounding the incident will form part of the investigation.”
The family of the deceased who has been identified as Emmanuel Lereko Ntsheu originally from Limpopo rushed to the scene to identify the body. The accident occurred at around 07:30 in the morning and three vehicles collided.
Cases of reckless and negligent driving and culpable homicide are being investigated.. “We would like to plead with motorists to value lives more than speed.” All injured persons were rushed to hospital.
