VANDERBIJLPARK. – “It’s been a tough year for all. It’s President Hyper’s ongoing belief that we must endeavour to make a real difference in people’s lives. It is this ethos that makes community involvement one of the cornerstones of the President Hyper ethos.”
With this conviction in mind, President Hyper recently presented the Vaal University of Technology with 200 food hampers for needy students.
This gesture is the culmination of ongoing assistance to needy students throughout the year through the structures of the University.
“Although the Vaal Triangle has experienced extremely difficult economic times President Hyper has prevailed thanks to its wonderful customers and loyal, dedicated staff,” the directors say.
President Hyper’s focus for the upcoming year is twofold: One area is to bolster community involvement wherever possible.
“The second focus is our people. Jobs can only be maintained by stability and co-operation by all,” says CEO Basil Synodinos. “The majority of our people where unemployed, now they are permanent employees with benefits. We remain committed to our community and our staff. Together through honest dialogue and good intentions we can make these quality jobs sustainable for all to benefit,” says Basil.
