Three Rivers: Seven cars stolen, five house break-ins reported

Police Spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda reports that seven motor vehicles have been reported stolen and five cases of house break-ins have been reported in Three Rivers.

VEREENIGING. –  Police Spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda reports that seven motor vehicles  have been reported stolen and five cases of house break-ins have been reported in Three Rivers.

Funda says that this is a matter of concern to the sector Commander  and the community at large. ” The Commander is busy discussing solutions to the matter with the community. Residents are urged to be vigilant.”

Funda adds that the residential area in the  cbd also has a number of break-ins in student rooms. ” property targeted is laptops and Tvs.

“People coming to do business in the cbd must not display their jewellery or leave their valuables unattended in the car where every person passing can see them. People must also not use their IT equipment in public in the cbd or drive with their car windows open.” Funda concludes.
