Kia welcomes new Sportage!

KIA Motors South Africa is celebrating the launch of the brand new 2017 KIA Sportage.
The campaign has been running since the beginning of August this year and the launch consists of The World’s Longest Test Drive. More than 30 000 entries were received from which 520 drivers were chosen.
One of these drivers will be randomly selected to win a new KIA Sportage – six provinces, one week, 3000 kilometres.
They kicked off in Durban, making their way down to spectacular Cape Point. Hundreds of SA’s motoring enthusiasts will be making history.
Kia Motors South Africa has officially partnered with RecordSetter, an innovative and fast-growing record holding company in the USA, as an officiator for The World’s Longest Test Drive. The RecordSetter world record database hosts over 40 000 records from more than 95 countries with record holders including Jimmy Fallon, Shaquille O’Neal and Tony Hawk.
Adding a distinctive European flavour to The World’s Longest Test Drive, vida e caffè will be fuelling the crew over their 1-day trip across South Africa.
Kia Motors South Africa also partnered with Butterfly Products, who will be sponsoring a vast amount of stationery and other supplies for a charity school-drop en route between Bloemfontein and East London.
GoPro will also be joining in the partnership with KIA South Africa.
On the 16th of October 2016 the drivers arrived at the KIA Vanderbijlpark and Vereeniging branches for the takeover by the new test drivers. Their arrival was festively celebrated by all the staff and clients of the KIA group with champagne and snacks.
The draw for the winner of the brand new Kia Sportage will take place on 5 November.
