Police received a tip-off by a community member of Rusticana. Sergeant Modise Modiko and constable Molefi Moledi rushed to the scene where they searched the vehicle the suspects were driving. They found stolen property in the vehicle such as an electric gate motor.
They also made an impressive discovery when they found crystal meth underneath the driver’s seat. The two suspects were arrested for possession of drugs and stolen property.
On the way to the police station one of the suspects confessed that the goods found in the vehicle belonged to his former employer.
Warrant Officer Simon Mofokatsane, spokesperson of the Barrage SAPS would like to thank the community for assisting them to make a positive arrest. The suspects will appear in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrates Court.
