SEBOKENG. – Members of the Sebokeng Community Policing Forum (CPF) and Sebokeng Police Services grieved as they laid to rest one of their own on Saturday.

This was community leader Thandi Ndaba (59), a Community Policing Forum member. Ndaba was laid to rest after she passed on due to long sickness. She is survived by two children who have learned the value with which their mother protected and defended her community against crime.

Ndaba is said to be one of the oldest members of the Sebokeng Police Station, CPF. She was one of the few member who stood the test of time since the establishment of the Sebokeng CPF. Biki Nketle, CPF Cluster and Sebokeng Chairperson, was among the mourners who came to pay their last respects to a fallen comrade.

Nketle paid sincere condolences to the family and to fellow CPF members:“We are deeply touched by the loss of our leader, commander and a woman who took the bull by the horns. May her soul rest in peace as we salute her perseverance.”
Patrick Kheswa, CPF Deputy Secretary, says the 13 years that Ndaba served the community will never be forgotten: “She is one of the few members who served the community with all her heart and knew what it means to be a community servant.
