VAAL TRIANGLE. -‘I went to renew my driver’s license the other day and they guy said ‘do you use glasses?’ I said no, I use bottles, you spill less’ – this is just one of the many quips that epitomises the humour of funny man Chris Forrest. He will be headlining this week’s Comedy Night at Emerald Resort & Casino’s Sports Bar on Thursday 17 March.
Chris Forrest has been in the forefront of the South African comedy scene since the late nineties. His witty comedy has made him one of the country’s most popular comedians.

From humble beginnings performing at the then Randburg Waterfront, to performing at South Africa’s premier comedy show: The 46664 “It’s No Joke” show as one of SA’s top 10 comics, he’s also a regular on the Heavyweight Comedy Jam, The Blacks Only Show and the Kingsize Comedy Show. His international appearances include: The Edinburgh Festival, The Lyric Theatre in London and The Round Table Comedy Show in Ghana.
Joining Chris at The Sports Bar are comedians Craig Caldwell, Teboho Theoha, Lihle Msimang and Smwokey.
