SEBOKENG. - A woman narrowly cheated death on Friday afternoon when an SBV truck crashed into her car.

SEBOKENG. – A woman narrowly cheated death on Friday afternoon when an SBV truck crashed into her car.
This caused her to crash into the vehicle in front of her’s.
This happened near Mandela Square in Zone 12. Other motorists were left stunned.
According to a bystander the SBV truck hit a stationary gold-coloured vehicle from behind.
The latter then hit a vehicle in front that was indicating to turn right at the shopping complex.
The accident brought the entire street grinding to a halt. Sebokeng Police and the Traffic Department quickly responded to the crash scene and resulting traffic jam.
Asked whether she was okay, it emerged that the woman whose car was initially hit by the truck was mildly traumatised and only suffered some post-traumatic stress. No major injuries were reported. Between these three cars the woman’s car was the one that was damaged the most. When asked what had happened she was unable to speak to the media though she was complaining about her car. Police spokesperson Lieutenant Teboho Lephoto says a case of reckless driving has been reported. “We are investigating a case of reckless driving. The rules of the road are the same for all,” says Lephoto.
