The incident apparently occurred at a nursery last year just before schools closed.

According to the family the child was fine when he went to school but on his return he started developing strange changes to his face and head and he was also complaining of itchy eyes.

*Nomasonto Dlamini who is the child’s grandmother says the school does not want to take responsibility for what has happened to the child. “My grandson lives in pain day in and out. No one wants to take responsibility. Even the police refuse to open a case. I need justice. I just want to know what happened to my grandson!” says the furious Dlamini.
It is alleged that Njabulo is not the only child at the school who developed this strange illness. Sedibeng Ster managed to reach one of the parents of a four-year-old child who suffered from this strange condition.

The 23-year-old mother of the four-year-old girl says her child’s health improved after undergoing severe treatment.
“I personally reported the matter to the school and nothing tangible was found. Even the social workers went to investigate the incident. Nothing added up, I am confused as to what happened to my daughter too,” says the mother of the four-year-old. Sedibeng Ster called the school and the principal responded by saying:
“I’m very puzzled and devastated by the situation. These are my children.
“I would not do anything to harm my own children. Police came, social development came, the health department came.
“I’m waiting for their report and response to the matter. She further told Sedibeng Ster that she had been operating since 1998 and nothing like this has ever happened.
