SEDIBENG.- Tsekisani Machebe (18) is one of the contestants on Common Wealth South Africa Miss Teen.
She entered this beauty pageant as it is a platform for all women of ages; it empowers women to become charity ambassadors within South African content and also to bring changes within our communities. As she is now on top 50 semi-finalists they were given various duties to accomplish such as helping charities by raising funds in any food products and also to raise money on administration cost, boot camps and workshops. She chose to work with Emfuleni Boys Shelter whereby she was helping kids with their homework’s.
She did try to approach some few sponsors to help her but she didn’t get any luck so she came with an alternative point to raise funds by asking for donations from her family members and friends and that became a mission accomplished said “Tsekisani”.
The Finals will be on the September 2 and a winner will get a chance to travel to London to compete internationally.
