Violin and tjello lessons for Chris van Niekerk

Chris van Niekerk School in Vredefort will be the venue for violin and tjello lessons in future. Peter Guy, who leads the Mangaung Music Programme, sponsored by the Free State government and Mr Ace Magashule, brought a group of learners from Bloemfontein and Kroonstad to demonstrate what could be achieved.

All the learners have been in the programme for a number of years and the positive impact it made on their lives was clear. Learners and teachers from all schools in Vredefort and Parys are invited to fill in entry forms. As soon as entries have been finalised, the Chris van Niekerk school bus will pick up learners from their respective school, take them to Vredefort for lessons and take them back after lessons.
