Entitlement se voet!

"But the question is, for how long our football is going to be run by people who doesn’t respect our constitution and football rules?"

SEDIBENG.- Football must get rid of this entitlement mentality because no one owes them anything, including the media. Zakes’ Sports Corner just said it!

It is no longer funny how football people think they are entitled to everything as if they are the only sporting code that exist in this country. As media, we serve the entire community and cover all sporting activities, not individual’s egos. For too long now football people think they are entitled to get ‘red carpet’ treatment, for what Zakes’ Sports Corner really don’t know. This message is directed to those who think they are entitled in our football society.

Entitlement se voet!

For example, Zakes’ Sports Corner will never shy away from setting the record straight against injustice in local football. Zakes’ Sports Corner still maintains that it was completely wrong for South African Football Association (SAFA) Sedibeng to allow Emfuleni Local Football Association and Midvaal Football Association to participate in the Inter Regional Promotion play-offs. It was protest after protest because of those two LFAs.

Zakes’ Sport Corner will reiterate the statement, it is criminal to say the least.

Zakes’ Sports it is not going to allow people to get away with murder in local football.

There is no respect for constitution in this region. The main problem is that some football administrators have over stayed their welcome in office and there is no more respect for this beautiful game.

There are no accountability and people do as they please in football. But the question is, for how long our football is going to be run by people who doesn’t respect our constitution and football rules? The message from Zakes’ Sports Corner to all the LFAs chairmen and SAFA Sedibeng President Solly Mkhabela is: Gentlemen, our football deserves better than this! Zakes’ Sports Corner finds it very strange that the two LFAS were allowed to participate at the play-offs regardless of the evidence that they registered players outside the given MYSAFA window period. This is the reason why SAFA Sedibeng fight court battles every season. It is because of the things like this.

Love or hate Zakes’ Sport Corner, this is the sad reality of Sedibeng football – no respect for this beautiful game! People are serving their stomachs at the expense of our football. Zakes’ Sports Corner challenges SAFA National to put an end to this region and its LFAs for failing to comply with the constitution.
