ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene and found the tractor and taxi lying in the middle of the road.
Several occupants that had been on the trailer at the time of the collision were now found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics immediately began their assessment and found that 11 people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported on the scene.
The patients were treated on the scene and were thereafter transported to Northdale provincial Hospital for further treatment.
It is believed that the taxi driver failed to notice the tractor turning off the road.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
