DA wants meeting about waste management

EMFULENI – The DA in the Emfuleni Local Municipality says they are deeply concerned that the MMC for Environmental and Waste Management, Cllr Jonas Radebe, has failed to convene a committee meeting about the lack of waste collection and other service delivery issues.

The DA’s Shadow MMC for Public Works, Dady Mollo, says the party has sent numerous written requests for such a meeting.
Mollo says: “This inaction has severe consequences as the committee is grappling with numerous pressing issues, including household waste not being serviced as required, inadequate monitoring and oversight, as well as the neglect of key community concerns.”
