Body of an unknown boy discovered, next of keen sought
Police spokesperson Sergeant Sinah Mpakane says police received a complaint of a child lying underneath the bridge at the intersection of the R82 and R549 roads.
SASOLBURG.- A body of an unknown young African boy estimated to be between the ages of 9 and 12 years was discovered on Saturday, July 6, at the intersection of the R82 and R549 roads in Zamdela, Sasolburg.
In a statement police spokesperson, Sergeant Sinah Mpakane said the body had fatal wounds to the neck.
Free State EMS was contacted and certified him dead on the scene.
“He is light in completion with short and coarse hair and about one metre tall. He was wearing a cream-white overall, blue and white striped shirt inside with no shoes.”
Police are investigating a case of murder. No one has been arrested.
