Flash Operation sweeps the streets of Boipatong

BOIPATONG.- In collaboration with crime prevention teams, the station’s flash officers conducted an operation focused on compliance.
This operation included visits to three taverns, resulting in the issuance of fines and confiscation of liquor at one was found to be non-compliant. Simultaneously, the crime prevention unit, working alongside community patrollers, conducted visits to two high schools in Boipatong: Jet Nteo and Lebohang High School.
SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela mentioned that during these visits, approximately 216 learners were searched within their classrooms to ensure the absence of drugs, substances, and dangerous weapons. This initiative was aimed at fostering a safer learning environment within these schools.
