SEBOKENG.– The Sehopotso Secondary School community warmly received a delegation from the United Kingdom recently, marking a significant event for the school and its visitors.

Among the delegation were evangelists, medical professionals, and pastors from various cities in the United States, including Dr. Buckles, Dr. Knox, Evangelist Monica Williams, and Pastor Turner.

The purpose of the visit was profound, aiming to establish a partnership focused on nurturing the students, instilling in them the importance of prayer, and inspiring them to believe in their capacity to effect positive change in their lives.

Sehopotso Secondary School, located in Zone 12, Sebokeng, primarily serves students from Kanana, Evaton, and Small Farms. Upon arrival, the school’s principal, Ofentse Moloto, and his team warmly welcomed the guests. The delegation was allowed to address the entire school during assembly, seamlessly integrating their message into the ongoing teaching and learning activities.

The school’s vibrant choir added to the atmosphere, lifting the spirits of the visitors with powerful worship songs. Impressed by the experience, the guests expressed a desire to visit an annual event, committing to adopting the school as one of their ongoing projects. Special recognition and gratitude were extended to the L.O. District SES officials, whose efforts facilitated the visit.

During the visit, Apostle Monica Williams emphasised Principal Moloto’s divine mission to uplift the souls of the surrounding communities through education, a mission he passionately pursued through prayer and supplication.

In a gesture of goodwill, the guests pledged a scholarship to one of the matriculants who had delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the school.
