Police discover unknown body while patrolling in Boipatong

"The deceased is suspected to have been assaulted before he was dumped. Anyone who might have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the police."

BOIPATONG. – The police in Boipatong have launched a murder case docket following the discovery of a body of a man at Delfos Road near Lusaka in Boipatong. The incident happened on Wednesday, December 20 around 06:00.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela says police were patrolling the area when they came across a body that was lying face down.

“The deceased, suspected to be Ethiopian was wearing blue and white takkies, white trousers, and a black t-shirt. He was certified dead by the Gauteng emergency services.”

“The deceased is suspected to have been assaulted before he was dumped. Anyone who might have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the police.”
