New party on the block

SEBOKENG. – Arise Afrika Arise (AAA), a newly established political party has expanded its reach to the Vaal, particularly Sebokeng.

Bishop Marumo Nkopane, the regional representative and leader of the party, stated that AAA, founded in 2022, stands on Christian principles with a vision centered on ‘Meritocracy.’ This vision aims to unlock South Africa’s potential for a stronger future. President Ben Mothupi, an Advocate, Businessman, and former ACDP leader of the Johannesburg Region, founded the party. The party’s leadership recently inaugurated a branch in Sebokeng Zone 3.

“Mr. Ben Mothupi, the party President, along with National Secretary General Roslyn Tshwane and Petty Cash Coordinator Mrs. Archie Molelle, visited us. I am enthusiastic about becoming a member and leader of AAA and am committed to growing this party,” stated Nkopane, a former ACDP Regional leader in Emfuleni, a ward committee member, and the Presiding Bishop of Covenant Prayer Episcopal Church in Zone 3 Sebokeng.

He expressed eagerness about AAA’s participation in the 2024 national elections. During a recent visit to the Vaal, Mothupi outlined AAA’s manifesto, emphasising the party’s objectives to create jobs and uphold constitutional values, specifically by safeguarding the rights and interests of churches and religious institutions.

Mothupi outlined key initiatives, stating: “We aim to ensure our teachers are the highest-paid public servants, advocate for standardised school uniforms, and equip each learner with a laptop or tablet.” Nkopane also stressed the importance of diverse teachers and extended an invitation to Sedibeng residents to join AAA for progressive societal change.
