“It is our duty as a newspaper to partner with such organisations for charity purposes."

SHARPEVILLE.- MooiVaal Media was part of media houses that received a Certificate of Appreciation from Vaal Echoes Of Love for the role it played in the success of the Annual Charity Jazz Festival last Sunday.

Mooivaal Media was part of the media houses that partnered with Vaal Echoes of Love to host this successful and memorial charity festival.

This charity jazz festival was attended by the members of the community to support this charity initiative. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Vaal Echoes of Love’s, Lindiwe Mokoena said the certificate is to acknowledge the role the MooiVaal Media played in marketing this charity jazz festival.

“I don’t think if it wasn’t for MooiVaal Media we could have managed to pull such a crowd. I was overwhelmed by the attendance with young and old came in numbers to enjoy with these elderly people at the center. The elderly people were dancing and they really had fun. I have no doubt that they will sleep well tonight,” she said.

Sedibeng Ster Editor, Lerato Serero said that this Certificate of Appreciation will motivate them to work even harder to serve the Sedibeng community, especially senior citizens.

“It is our duty as a newspaper to partner with such organisations for charity purposes. I’m happy that we contributed to the success of the event, thanks to Vaal Echoes of Love management for the certificate,” said Serero.
