VEREENIGING. – The Riverside High School fraternity is mourning the tragic loss of Grade 11 pupil Siphosihle Kabelo Skosanna (17).
Skosana lost his life following a collision between a bus and a scholar transport mini-bus in De Deur on Monday morning, 18 September.
In a statement, the school shared the news of Skosana’s passing.
“It is with great sorrow and heartache to inform the Riverside community of the passing of Siphosihle. We send our condolences to family, friends, and Riversidians.
“Riverside has lost a unique and kind soul but has gained an angel. May his soul rest in peace,” the school said.
Skosana’s life is expected to be commemorated in a memorial service that will be held at the school on Thursday, 21 September.
Police spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda said a culpable homicide case docket was launched for investigation.
