"We are happy to see that South Africa Rugby has been following our passion for football hence they invited us to come here."

SEDIBENG.- Two prominent soccer fans, Joy ‘Mama Joy’ Chauke, and Botha ‘Botha’ Msila, will be in the stands to cheer for the Springboks when they take on Romania in their Rugby World Cup today, Saturday.

These two well-traveled soccer fans are known for their passion for football but this time around they are wearing Springboks colours. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport via TikTok, Mama Joy, and Botha said they will be waiting in anticipation when Springboks take on Romania in their second World Cup match.

The two were in the stands when Springboks won their opening World Cup match.

They told Sedibeng Ster Sport, that being at the Rugby World Cup is the best experience that they will cherish for years to come. They spoke to Sedibeng Ster Sport while having breakfast together on Wednesday morning.

“We might be known as soccer fans but when it comes to our national teams, we support every national team. We know some white people who are always supporting our football national teams and for us to be here it means a lot to us. We have enjoyed each and every moment of being here since we arrived here. This is the best experience to be here in France and we are looking forward to the game on Saturday. We have no doubt that the Springboks will make us proud once again and we will bring back the trophy,” the pair said joyfully.
