SEDIBENG.- Banyana Banyana will play their first international friendly match against the USA after their historical FIFA Women’s World Cup last sixteen run recently.
These two friendly matches are scheduled to take place in Cincinnati and Chicago this month. Banyana Banyana Coach, Desiree Ellis is happy with the kind of opponents SAFA has organized for the team.
“I’m happy with the kind of opponents we will be playing against because they are ranked third in the world. These are the kind of opponents that we always wish to play against,” said Ellis.
However, Banyana Banyana will be without their captain Refiloe Jane who is still not fully recovered after suffering an injury at the World Cup.
