First Vaalpets Fitness Challenge: a fun-filled success

The first Vaalpets Fitness Challenge was presented on 1 July at the Meyerton Sports Club, where first timers and seasoned athletes got the opportunity to test their fitness and endurance.

The event consisted of six workout stations of 15 minutes each.

The entrance fee of R30 for adults and R10 for children under 12, dog food or a blanket, was in aid of Vaalpets Animal Shelter.

The day was supported by, among others, Bounce, Urban Junction Fitness, Meyerton Fighting Systems, Sonja’s Steps & Styles Fitness, and Shape Up Bungee Trampoline Fitness, with 90.6 FM, Ster and Vaalweekblad as media sponsors. The organisers wish to thank everyone who contributed to the day’s success.
